About Our Camps

The Girl Scout Council of Southeast Louisiana owns and operates three outdoor facilities. Facilities open for use are our day use facility, McFadden Cabin, and our 600-acre Camp Whispering Pines (CWP). Each site is unique in its own way and offers unlimited program opportunities for outdoor activities.  At CWP a new ropes challenge course and rock climbing wall was added in time for Resident Camp this past summer!

Camping has long been rated a favorite activity by Girl Scouts. Summer resident camp provides adventure, self-esteem, leadership skills, friends, and fun for girls 7-17. In the off-season CWP is available for Girl Scout troops/groups, and other retreats. Click the links below to learn more about each of our facilities.
